Prepaid Setup Guide

 

The Prepaid Setup Guide is designed to help identify and download your wireless and long distance prepaid products.  

 

Step 4:

 

Clicking the Update Now button as defined in Step 3 will bring up the EWI Products window.  This window provides a list of all available products from the selections made in Step 3.

 

:  By default all products will have a checkmark.  If you do not wish to download a specific product into your database, un-check the box.

 

:  This is the product code that will be assigned to the product within your TeleTracker Online database.  It is recommended that the default product code remain unedited.  If an existing product in your database has the same code as a product in the EWI Products window, you will be alerted and will have an opportunity to change the product code.

 

:  This is the product description that will be assigned to the product within your TeleTracker Online database.  It is recommended that the default description remain unedited.

 

:  This is the product type that will be assigned to the product within your TeleTracker Online database.

 

:  This is the Vendor that will be assigned to the product within your TeleTracker Online database.

 

:  A Revenue Department must be selected for the product in order to complete the product download process.  Click into the Department field and open the Revenue Department Lookup Utility.

 

** Advisory **  

It is recommended that prepaid and long distance products be selected into a Revenue Department that limits returns to 0 days.  Prepaid and long distance products should be treated the same as cash once the PIN is exposed.  Only in very rare circumstances will the prepaid processor authorize the return of a prepaid or long distance product.

 

:  By default all products will have a checkmark.  Please check with your accountant regarding state and local regulations for taxing prepaid and long distance products.
