Service Provider Incentives
Incentives are Service Provider components that are used to build plans. The Incentives are placed together with the Service Plan to give the Plan specific properties and commission structures. Because the Incentives are created independent from the Service Plans, a single incentive can be applied to one or many service plans.
To access the Service Provider Incentives Screen from the menu bar of the main TeleTracker Online screen, click Master Files, then Service Provider. Select the appropriate Service Provider and click Open. Click the Incentives button on the left side column menu.
Base
- The Base Incentive forms the main commission structure
of a Service Plan. Defined
within the Base Incentive is the commission amount received from the Service
Provider, and the commission amount paid to salespeople. You
may specify different commission amounts for each activation type. Once
a specific Base Incentive is created, you may apply it to any of your
desired service plans.
Options
- Options are additional features that can be activated
on the Service Plan. Defined
within the Option Incentive is the commission amount received from the
Service Provider, and the commission amount paid to salespeople. You
may specify different commission amounts for each activation type. Once
a specific Option Incentive is created, you may apply it to one or many
service plans.
Rebates
- Rebates are discounts given to the customer for
activating a phone. The
Rebate Incentive is given to the customer at the time of the sale. Defined
within the Rebate Incentive is the specific rebate amount given from the
Service Provider and the new price of the phone. When
the Rebate Incentive is created, it can
be set valid for specific products and applied to specific plans.
SPA's
- SPA's are additional product commissions that can
be assigned to the Service Plan. Defined
within the SPA Incentive is the commission amount received from the Service
Provider, and the commission amount paid to salespeople.
The SPA
is then set valid for specific products and specific plans.
Spiff's
- Spiff's calculate the activation obtainment goal
for a group of Service Plans. Once
the assigned goal is reached, the Spiff Incentive is retroactively applied
to the valid Service Plans. Defined
within the Spiff Incentive is the spiff amount received from the Service
Provider and the spiff amount paid to salespeople.
Co-Op's
- Co-op's are monies
disbursed to merchants from Service Providers. Typically,
the funds are designed to promote and market a Service Provider's products
and/or Service Plans. Specific
Co-op criteria will be able to be defined within the Co-op Incentive,
including valid Service Plans and specified receivable amounts.
