Locations               

 

Locations Master Files are used to identify your company’s Regions, Markets, Districts, Locations, and Bins.  

 

 

To access Locations Master Files from the menu bar of the main TeleTracker Online screen, click Master Files, then Locations.   

 

The Locations Master File screen is split into two (2) halves; on the left-hand side is the list of Regions, Markets, Districts, Locations, and Bins, and on the right-hand side is the detail of each.  The detail of each Location can be edited as necessary.

 

 

 

Regions, Markets, Districts, and Locations can be expanded by clicking on the plus sign next to the locale, or minimized by clicking on the minus sign next to the locale.  The following tasks can be completed when you right-click on the following:

 

 

 

Right-click Region:  This function allows you to create a NEW Region, create a NEW Market beneath that Region, DELETE the currently selected Region or RENAME the currently selected Region.

 

 

 

Right-click Market:  This function allows you to create a NEW District beneath that Market, DELETE the currently selected Market or RENAME the currently selected Market.

 

 

 

Right-click District:  This function allows you to create a NEW Retail Location beneath the District, DELETE the currently selected District or RENAME the currently selected District.

 

 

 

Right-click Retail Location:  This function allows you to create a NEW Bin, DELETE the currently selected Retail Location or RENAME the currently selected Retail Location.

 

 

BINS

TeleTracker Online uses BINS to house or store inventory at each Retail Location.  BINS can only be created at the Retail Location level, and each location must have at least one BIN in order to house and maintain inventory.

 

 

The sale of inventory items originating from more than a single BIN requires separate invoices to be generated for each BIN’s sale.  Therefore, it is recommended that each location include a single RETAIL Bin, where all resale inventory items are housed.

  

Likewise, it is recommended that a RETURNS and/or DEFECTIVE Bins be created to house inventory returned by customers.  Following these guidelines will result in fluid inventory controls and optimum reporting of inventory levels when utilizing TeleTracker Online’s Inventory Reorder Report.

 

 

Marquee

The marquee feature allows you to scroll moving text across the bottom of the TeleTracker Online window.  This feature is an excellent tool when used to keep employees up to date on sales goals, commission levels, add-ons, current sales, coupons and anything else that will help your business prosper.

 

Highlight the location level you wish to assign the marquee text to, and enter the text in the box on the right-hand side of the window labeled Marquee.  To adjust the speed of the Marquee, click View on the main toolbar and select Preferences.  You will see your marquee text scrolling across the bottom of the TeleTracker Online screen in a small, text box.  Adjust the toggle below the text to your desired speed.
